I forgot to mention the biggest miracle of all this Christmas...I GOT GIFTS FROM MY HUSBAND!!! Let me preface this with my knowledge that he is the most giving and amazing man ever, but giving gifts on holidays when gifts are expected is not one of his strengths. He prefers to leave all of the commercialism out of it, and just give service and prizes when they are least expected. But, my stocking was filled with 2 very nice items this year. He went with my love for computing and digital scrapbooking and got me this and this. After unpacking my stocking I sheepishly handed him his stocking filled with 2 dvds, deoderant, gum, and Dove chocolates. That's only because we had agreed we weren't getting anything major for eachother because we just bought this new addition for our garage on Christmas Eve...We've been saving up for this puppy for a few months now. After joining "Girlfriend's Cooking Club" and trying to build up our food storage I'm in desparate need of freezer space. This should do the job. Then lastly, I purchased myself this picture I've been dying to have for the past year. I had originally spotted it at Deseret Book for well over $400 and decided it would be quite some time before it hung in my living room for me to enjoy, but then my fellow Costco-addicted neighbor spread the news to me that they were selling them for over half off at Costco just before Christmas. I treated myself to this beauty with the money I collected making a few cards for some of you. Thanks, guys! It's my first piece of artwork I've ever purchased AND my husband loves it too (that's hard to come by). It's of the Sacred Grove and adds quite the peaceful yet colorful touch to our living room wall, don't ya think?
So all in all I was spoiled this Christmas.
