Last night before we ate dinner I told Henry that we were going to say a prayer. He reverently folded his arms and squinted his eyes (he never quite closes them all of the way), waiting for me to begin. I blessed the food and opened my eyes to see Henry still in his praying position. He then let's out a "bless Kailie, Thomas, Beck, Daddy" in the sweetest little serious voice and then looks at me for reassurance. I was so proud of him. Usually he is busy eating already while Preston or I are saying the prayer, but I guess he's really been listening all along.

Henry's first prayer...

I love it! Anika says such cute prayers now too and I love it! I just have to say Heavenly Father probably loves to hear a child pray. i am sure it makes Him smile EXTRA big when he hears them pray for EVERYTHING in the room!! :)
That is so cute! Kids do listen and remember things very well.
well i for one am going to take a more personal and active role in making sure i get mentioned in prayers.
