Our friends, Brad and Reiko, here in Bakersfield took us on a plane ride last night! Brad flew us in his 4 seater airplane to San Luis Obispo to eat dinner by the ocean. It was amazing! The plane flew so smooth and we could talk the whole time on our headsets...Henry even had a mini version! Dinner was great...we feasted on seafood and all had our first taste of capers...not so tasty. It was 78 degrees and beautiful there! Brad let Preston fly the plane on the way home....that sure put ideas into his head of "maybe one day....". We also got to experience "zero gravity" when Brad decided to give us a roller coaster ride! I could actually say for once that Bakersfield looked pretty coming home to all of the lights in the city! Too bad it was over 100 degrees and we came back to our apartment with NO power! It came back on within a few hours though. It's supposed to 111 degrees today!!!!
Oh, and our "baby" is 11 months old today! I can't believe I'm about to have a toddler!
