We've been running low on our strawberry freezer jam stock for awhile now,
and Bountiful Baskets had an amazing deal on a flat of strawberries,
so we set out to do a round of jam.
It got me feeling Springy for the 2nd time this week...
the fresh berries...the bright colors...the smells...
but then the snow came again today.
Darnit.
Freezer jam is super easy and so delicious.
I only used 4 of the strawberry containers
and made somewhere around 15 small jars of jam.
It goes a long, long way.
Last time I made jam James was in the sling,
and this time, 3 years later, he helped me ladle it in the jars...
So, needless to say, the last round of jam lasted us 3 years.
From helpless newborn to handy helper.
Maybe next time we do jam we will have 3 potty trained children
that will make the jam from start to finish for me.
A mom can dream, right?

Yummy!!! There are few things better then homemade jam on a hot roll! Looks delicious!
The only thing better than strawberry jam on a hot roll is raspberry jam on a hot roll, but that's just my opinion. Yum.
yum! I saw the strawberries yesterday and they looked SOO good! I was wishing I bought some. I did get the mangos and MMM! I am in heaven! :)
