Lounging Lakeside

The Pond Getaway was a success! We loved being lakeside. Our condo was right on the lake, and you could just sit on the balcony and see the mountains and water. It was beautiful! We ate out there, played games out there and even talked around a firepit when it got a little chilly last night. It was great being with the family.

I know it appears as though our kids didn't go with us, but they did.  Henry was too busy playing with cousins to stop for a picture and James slept the hours away in his humble home below the stairs.  That kid will sleep and sleep if he's in a dark, quiet spot all alone.   I guess I did snap this one of him "helping" us make dinner last night.

We're hoping this trip becomes an annual Pond Tradition because it sure was fun!
