I have promised my hubby over the past year that I would grow out my natural color. Well, I accomplished that and have been walking around with my dirty dish water blonde for quite some time. I was fine with that (felt like my true self, saved money, was happy that my hubby was happy), until just recently when I've been greeted by the mirror everyday with more gray hairs. No offense...I actually think grays are a mark of maturity, and I love seeing older ladies with a head full of brilliant gray hair.....but, I'm only 30 and not ready to go there yet.
So last night I got a few highlights put in and a good trim.
I feel fresh. I feel young. I feel good. The mirror is my friend again.
I loved my brother-in-law's reaction upon me returning home last night. "I see you got a little bit of Henry (blonde) and a little bit of James (red)". I thought that was cute.
Sorry, hubby. Thank you, dye.
