express yourself

James is surprising me left and right with all of his new skills.  He yelled out "durdle" today, jumped on his birthday gift and shouted "GO!", asking for me to take him for a cruise around the kitchen on the tile floor(his favorite activity).  I consented, of course, beaming with pride at his new found talking talents.

On Sunday Preston was putting together a new bookshelf/toy storage unit for James' room, and James dove right in to help.

Here he is hammering it up...Attempting to stick a screwdriver into a tiny hole...Mission accomplished and proud of it...And no day is complete without this face from James...
Maybe one day he will learn to express this feeling in words instead of grumpy faces.
