Henry: (picking up the bowl of sugar) "I love sugar".
Me: (sigh)
Henry: "It's my favorite" (putting the bowl to his lips).
Me: "I know" (feeling guilty).

my kids totally do this when i make snickerdoodles. i just turn a blind eye.
