After ordering this swimsuit for James and receiving it in the mail, I realized that it has sun protection in the material!!! What a genius idea! I just wish they would have had this stuff when I was a youngster. My sisters and I went to the apartment pool every day in the summer, and I never wore sunblock. I had blisters the size of marbles on each of my shoulders weekly that would have to be popped (skin cancer wasn't really the talk of the town back then). Now I just have densely freckled shoulders to show for it. I've always complained that my skin just burns and peels, and now I'm thinking that little James with his red hair is going to be even worse off than I when it comes to the tanning situation (or lack of it). He's destined to be a whitey, so we better protect his pale baby skin with this extra protection swimwear. And we can't forget the shades to complete the look...
