Saturday's Scrapfest

On Saturday I met up with 2 good friends of mine for a day full of scrapbooking at a local hotel. The kids (minus the cutest little boy who needed his mommy AND was an angel) stayed at home with their dads while we got a little scrapbooking, a lot of eating, and a lot of talking done. As Pam reports on her blog, Jeni did get more done than me with a 4 month old on her lap (sad but true), but as I replied my ankles were swollen, my Coke got watery and the hotel's internet was being fussy, thus interrupting my scrapbooking rhythm. I was still happy with the results. Here's a few of my favorites from the day. The rest can be found on the "Henry's Scrapbook" link. While I'm at it I have to put a plug in for Happy Sumo. Oh my word...the food was amazing! Think teriyaki salmon, potstickers, tempura veggies, the most satisfying California roll with a bit of ginger, Miso soup, and a refreshing salad, all in one, very affordable, combo meal. I will be going back again some day. The night ended with exhaustion and a Leatherby's Banana Split, of course. We dozed off to Iron Chef without having to wonder if our kids were going to wake us up in the night. Heaven. Meanwhile my hubby was back home laying Henry down in his toddler bed for the first time. Success. Thanks, Babe!

Your scrapbook pages look great. I got memory mixer for Christmas, is that what you use? Maybe you could show me the ropes one day. Amen to Happy Sumo...

Sounds like fun! I had a scrapfest last week, but it included a little man and his cousins who seemed to do anything to get on his nerves. Not as productive as you I'm sure!!
