I'm feeling like a new woman today, so here are those tree trimming pics I promised!
It didn't start out so great. We didn't realize it at the farm, but our tree is extremely crooked! Preston thought if he leaned for the picture the tree might look a little more straight...After not having enough lights to cover our big, chubby tree, we opted for some ribbon to fill in the blanks. Janelle's expertise paid off...Henry "helped" put the ornaments on (and take them off). The finished product....still very crooked and slightly homely looking, but it has character, right? We decided it was better to leave it a little slanted to the left than to prop it up with 2x4's and have it fall on our little pride and joy who will be forever pulling on it's ornaments. The first year Preston and I were married we made some cute picture ornaments out of pictures, peppermints and ribbon. We loved it then, so we decided to make some again. We left out the peppermints this time around because of that same little picker who would have them eaten in a matter of minutes. Preston commented that all of the pictures are of us....so we shall call it our "family tree".All light up...I guess "all" is an overstatement. Now we just hope we can keep it alive until Christmas!

Glad you are feeling better!
That is one beautiful tree. Are you sure there isn't anything living in it?
I guess you spoke a little to soon about the tree falling down on the little picker!
We have experienced the crookedness in the past. Seriously if you tilt your head to the side a little it is PERFECT. It is quite chubby tho, how did you fit it through the door?
The tree looks great love how you decorated the tree. Sorry to hear about your faling tree story! how frustrating! I would have been so mad if that happened to us. thank goodness for family to come to your rescue why hubby is out of town!!
