Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread!

I'm no baker, but this Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread is the easiest thing to make. I attempted it on Saturday, and Preston was very impressed. What attracted me to it in the first place is NO raising. I stink at making bread because of the whole raising and kneading combo. You just mix and plop this stuff in the pan. And can I add that everyone MUST convert to Guittard's Milk Chocolate Chips?....they are huge and every true chocolate lovers dream. No more of this Nestle Semi-Sweet junk! Try them, seriously. They make the biggest difference.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

2 sticks of butter or margarine
2 C sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 C pumpkin
1/2 bag of chocolate chips (the GOOD ones!)
3 3/4 C flour
2 t soda
2 t cinnamon
1 t salt
1 t nutmeg
1/2 t ginger
1/2 t cloves

Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs and pumpkin, mix well. Add dry ingredients and mix together. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake @ 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done.

Enjoy!

I may actually be able to handle this recipe. At the very least, I can translate it to Portuguese and see if my maid/nanny has any luck. She's become quite the cook.
