While playing at the Treehouse Museum the other day, Henry counted the frogs in his usual way...."one, two, tee, fo, fi, si, seven, nine, ten!". He always skips the number 8!!! I'm not sure what his deal is, but no matter what my persuasion he does not give the number 8 any credit.

i thought that, and even began typing it, but decided it was a little too blasphemous!
He's doing pretty good since he only skips number 8! Lily usually skips the numbers 3,4,5, and 6.
Ju does "1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10!" It's nice Henry does 4,5,6,7 because usually kids want to skip 4 or 5 and 6 or 7. I think because the word initial phonemes are the same. But then again, I have kids who say 1,2,5, 5, 5, 5, 5..... So who knows what the trend is.
