Monday Night Softball

Every Monday night for the entire summer we have travelled up to Heber City for Preston to play in a Men's Softball league with his brother and one of our good friends. The one hour drive there and back stinks (at least it's a pretty one), but it's a fun activity to participate in. I have always loved and played softball, until babies came around, so I love watching Preston play too.

I think Henry is the happiest about Monday night softball for many reasons...

#1 He gets to wear daddy's hat before the game...

#2 He has fun warming up with daddy (he throws the ball and runs the bases)...

#3 His mom feeds him lots of junk so that he'll sit still by her while she watches the game (this treat happens to be a healthy fruit leather, but usually it's suckers from the snack bar)...

#4 He gets to stay up really late because lately the games have been at 8:30pm or 9:30pm.

Lucky for me, I don't have to cook because we always grab fast food on the way.

Preston is excited because they are officially in 1st place and have won the league play (way to go, boys!). Their tournament starts on Wednesday night, and they're all hoping to come out victorious! We shall see...
