This week has been icky at our house. Henry first had a nasty cold, then came the diarrhea, followed by 4 hours naps (that I eventually woke him up from) and even a low-grade fever. I debated and debated taking him to the doctor (our stinkin' co-pay is $40!!!!!!), telling myself they would just say "it's a virus...keep doing what you're doing" and finally buckled on Friday. It's a good thing too!....he has a mild case of RSV and a double ear infection. So he is on antibiotics and just super whiny and clingy. It hasn't been too fun around here. He is super cuddly and lovey which is a nice change from his typical busy toddlerhood, but it's so hard to shower, pick-up, cook, eat and function normally with a little leach all day. I'm hoping that the Amoxycillin kicks in soon and he'll be back to his old self again. I miss my happy little Henry!
We, as I'm sure all of you, watched the Superbowl tonight. My parents may be tearing up as they read this, but they should be happy to know that we did sport our Bears apparel. We had Janelle and Dean over. I claim I "watched" the game, but that really means I was in the same room as the TV and pretty much chatted and ate the goodies.
Here's our poor set-up...Preston had to really rig up those bunny ears to get Channel 2 to come in! That was part of where my lack of interest came from...you couldn't hardly read the score on the TV it was so fuzzy!
Cheering on the Bears in honor of Grandma and Grandpa!...
Henry loved having friends over. He even shared his chair (and Pablo & Uniqua) with Aunt Janelle!...
With a Bears loss and a sick kid, we're hoping for better days to come!

Are you a real Bears fan? I'm not sure if I knew this about you....
What a deal...sorry about your little guy. That is just a bummer to have everything all at once. Hopefully he'll recover soon and be back on track!
