winter break

This winter is getting long....and dreary....and cold....and I'm done with it.

We did get a nice break from the snow and freezing temperatures...and a break from school,

so we hit the zoo with a few friends!

The kids behaved perfectly.  I was a little nervous since there was 5 of them and just one of me,

but they far exceeded my expectations, so I treated them to a fro yo treat afterward (my pick, of course.).

It was exactly what we all needed- fresh air, friends and fun,

and now we can't wait for summer!

Henry went back to school today after the long weekend and said,

"I just want to take a year off of school."

Oh buddy, if only...
