Our 4th of July was nothing short of festive.
We stick with tradition around here.
7am Sill's Breakfast with family...
Getting all decked out in red, white and blue...
Going to the same parade year after year, despite the heat, crowds and lack of floats...
We just can't stop going because these 3 get so excited to yell for candy...
Can you tell it was HOT?
The afternoon was filled with Cafe Rio, naps and packing for our 5 week departure on Saturday.
Then, we had a little street party with neighbors at night.
The kids loved the snappers...
Stella loved playing with her girlfriends...
She also got to throw her first smoke bomb...
We dined on homemade ice cream...and as you can see by their faces, it was pretty exciting!
And, a few of the guys put on a pretty good fireworks show, complete with applause and lots of smoke...
I have always loved the fourth of July.
I'm all about food, friends, family, fireworks, fun and freedom!
And it helps that my hubby gets the day off to celebrate too!
