Today is my middle man's 3rd birthday.
He's come a long way...
{2/08}
James is at a rough patch right now.
He throws tantrums, says "NO" often, refuses to eat meals,
fights to be as big as his older brother & poops his pants.
But, I must say, he's honestly my sweetest child.
All he wants, more than anything, is to be held and loved on.
His love language is definitely touch.
He could sit on my lap to read books and sing songs for hours.
When he gets hurt all he needs is a hug and a kiss.
Bedtime isn't complete without "snug as a bug in a rug",
repeated 3x and a big smooch on the lips.
His sensitivity amazes me. Every time I leave the house
he asks me, "When will you be home mom?", and proceeds
to hug and kiss me goodbye.
He will make a great hubby one day.
The best thing about James is his humor.
He pulls jokes and silliness out of nowhere
that make us all laugh.
Like at our last family photo shoot,
he just wanted to be pictured like this...
Nobody had any idea why, but he just kept doing it.
I'm sure Henry's laughing was egging him on, as well.
Or, when I danced my heart out to get him to smile
for the camera, he went with this face instead...
And, my dancing is pretty darn funny.
Some of James' favorites...
PUZZLES!!! He can put just about any kid puzzle
together faster than me!
COLORING!!! He has graduated to staying in the lines.
SWORDFIGHTING!!! This kid can kick butt on the Wii.
CHEESE & CRACKERS!!!
PABLO!!! He finally will sit through one show,
but it has to be Backyardigans!
"RUN LIKE THE WIND BULLSEYE"...
he must shout this ten times a day
while running around like a madman!
DADDY!!! He asks where he is everyday
and is the first to greet him at the door each night
with a big hug and a tackle.
ZIPPIES (the turtle) AND his THUMB!!!
He can't sleep without both!
We may be at a hard age,
but I can tell this kid is going to be one-of-a-kind,
funny, smart and super sweet!
We love you, Jamers!
