falling behind

Happy New Year!

It's been a crazy week.

My entire family is visiting for the holidays.

For a few nights we had 24 people under one roof.

It's been days filled with food, family and fun, the things I like best.

I know it's January 2nd,

but I never got a chance to post about Christmas.

It was a good one.

Our boys are to a good age where they get really excited

and are still filled with that innocent magic the holidays create.

They talked about Santa visiting, Oliver the Elf leaving,

the toys they hoped to get and begged for everyday to be Christmas.

It was Stella's first Christmas. She was what you would expect every

almost-9 month old to be...clueless. We still waited for her to wake up,

carried her down the steps and let her explore the Christmas presents.

The wrapping paper was her favorite, of course.

My family will be here for a few more days,

and I'm sure we will enjoy every second of it.

Then I will tell myself it's 2011

and to resolve to clean my house & count down the days until next Christmas!
