Our neighbors had a visit from the jolly old man on Christmas Eve
and invited us over to take a seat on his lap and chat.
Henry requested a ping pong table and was sure to add
"not a little one, a big one" to which Santa
replied, "that's too big for my sleigh".
(Thank you, Santa!!!)
James was hesitant to sit on his lap, so Mom had to join him.
But when Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas he
quickly shouted, "a book!".
(Thank you, James! That's an easy one)
Stella got her turn too,
and even though she couldn't say a word,
we all knew she wanted to be with her Momma for Christmas.
(I have to hold onto that desire as long as I can).
We knew Santa was going to have a really busy night,
so we didn't keep him long.
He grabbed his jingle bell, and took off down the road.
The kids couldn't wait for his visit!
(We love our neighbors!)
