Henry is loving Kindergarten.
He's learning a wee bit of Spanish, can read a few words
and gets better at his number concepts everyday (his struggle).
The part he gets most excited about is recess.
The next best thing to recess is PE.
They've been spending their gym time
practicing singing and dancing for their Kindergarten Program.
We got to go see him perform this week.
He spotted us in the audience and waved.
Then the program started and his hat kept falling down, but he compensated.
Once the dancing started he was too far away for pictures.
Earlier that day I asked him who his dance partner was and he told me "Cone Stonce".
I said, "Oh, Constance" (I know their names from volunteering),
and he insisted even louder that it was "CONE Stonce".
Then it hit me that his teacher is from Spain and does pronounce it that way.
I wonder how many people think Henry's name is "Enery".
We're proud of our big boy
and love watching him grow-up everyday.
James, Stella and I miss him in the mornings,
but we know he's happy and learning at school.
I'm so grateful for his wonderful teacher
and his adorable, little school friends!
