{rain or shine}

It poured on our Halloween,

but that didn't matter.

Our little dragon, shark and kitty made their way out

and got quite the loot.

We had a great evening

trick or treating

handing out candy

feasting on chili

spending time with family

and friends.

As the 9 year-old I used to nanny for in college stated

12 years ago when I was late picking her up from school,

"Don't worry. Standing in the rain builds character".

I think it adds a little more magic to the moment!

(especially when you witness a complete double rainbow,

as pictured here).

And what's more sweet than fat, happy children?

Nothing.
