handy sitter

Stella took a great while to learn the skill of sitting up all by herself.

I blame it on her brothers that always knock her over.

And the fact that she prefers to roll all over the place

instead of sticking to one spot.

We find that if we stick a toy between her legs

she will stay put a bit longer.

Her favorite toys are the Handy Manny tools.

She pushes the button on the toolbox to listen to the jingle.

Pulls every tool out.

Tastes them.

Her favorite is Turner.

She always holds onto him the longest

and gives him the slobberiest kisses.

I'm not sure if she's on her way to being a handy wo(man)

or if she just plays with what we've got around here.

Oh, and we must keep her hair out of her face

while she does such hard work...
