Root Root Root for the home team!

When Preston found out we were going to Hilton Head for our family vacation
he was sure to pave the way to get us to check another ballpark off our list...

Turner Field in Atlanta, Georgia

The Double Play...Henry and Henry.
The boys ready for the game...
The field was beautiful. The souvenirs were bought. The seats were prime.
But too bad the humidity and heat were in full force,
and we were right in the sun!

We used the "baby card" and got to sit at the top in the wheelchair section
where there was shade, the breeze felt refreshing and the kids were happy...

...until the 7th inning.
It was 10pm, we had been up late for 2 nights and traveling,
and the kids were done with the game and done with being awake.
It killed Preston and I to ditch after the 7th inning stretch but that's what parents do, right?

We loaded our little ones in the car, had no traffic to deal with,
and listened to the remainder of the game on the radio.

The home team didn't win, but we had no shame.
"One, Two, Three strikes you're out at the old ball game"
