Preston woke up on Saturday morning determined to build grow boxes for our garden.
By sunset he had a hole dug, railroad tie border set, grow boxes built, grow boxes filled with soil, bark circling the grow boxes, a sunburnt face and dirty, dirty clothes.
Way to go, Babe!

And here's our new flat backyard. It's just dirt now, but sprinklers and sod are on their way.
By sunset on Saturday night I had swept our floors 3 times, filled the dust pan 3 times, cleaned shoes 3 times and begged for the sod to arrive soon...3 times.
This cleaning up after dirt is getting old,
but I'm looking forward to garden-fresh veggies and grass (tracked in).

Oh man, I remember all that dust. It's such a pain but totally worth it to have the new back yard. I'm so excited for you - it's gonna be a nice big yard! Yay for the garden boxes!!
