Grandma & Grandpa Pond spent the afternoon with us getting to know Stella.
They took turns holding her and doting over her.
James was determined to get Grandma's attention despite the swooning over the baby girl.
He climbed up next to her to give her a hug...
James has a special place in his heart for Grandma Pond.
Every time she is around he lets her feed him, hold him and play with him.
He's our shy boy, so this is a rare event.
I'm glad he loves his Grandma, and I think we can say she is smitten by him too.

Jessie, she really is so sweet. I'd love to come see her sometime. I love fresh newborns.
I hope I didn't sound judgemental about the pitocin. You're reasons totally make sense and I'm in awe that you can & willingly do it, especially after going through it myself. The one thing I did like was that is was a really quick labor, but that was THE only perk. :)
