Puttin' the GRAND in Grandma/Grandpa!

My parents came to visit a few days after Stella was born, and they were lifesavers.

They got kids dressed, fed and ready for the day.

I slept, showered and nursed the baby in peace.

My boys were in heaven, and I think Grandma & Grandpa were too.

Grandma loved snuggling "her baby"...

Grandpa loved doing legos with the boys...

Henry had picked out this fireman lego set over a month ago for when Grandma and Grandpa came to town. They always make a trip to Toys R Us and pick out a toy. Little did Grandpa and Daddy know that this set has over 600 pieces that no 4 year old could put together on his own. Let's just say that Daddy's been busy "playing" Legos nightly too.

James roamed the house their entire visit asking for Grandpa,

and spent all of the van rides in the very back row giggling with Grandma.

It's always nice to get them to ourselves for a quality visit when they live so far away.

They've been gone a few days now, and we are surviving but missing them like crazy!
