my nest

This is my new living room...my nest.

I spend a few hours here a day.

I'm on a mission to get my first 2 children's scrapbooks updated before Baby #3 arrives.

I consider it my own personal form of nesting.

I'm feeling rushed, but I love spending time at night while the kids are all tucked in their beds in front of meaningless television and my computer, scrappin' the hours away.

I consider it productive because I used to sit here for at least an hour a night but on the couch that has been moved, watching the meaningless TV without getting anything else accomplished at all.

The time flies by. The kids' books get done. The shows get watched (with only half-attention...who really needs to see every Idol Contestant anyway?).

I sip. I snack. I happy.

I'm officially done with 2008, and moving on to 2009!

I can taste the up-to-datedness coming soon...

but the baby can wait a few months longer.
