Happy Birthday, James!

Today is the big day...James is TWO!

Can you believe that 2 years ago today I looked like this?...

Oh wait, I look like that today too.

James woke up this morning to see our new birthday banner (that I made at GNO Craft night last week...thanks be to my creative friend) hanging for the first time for his big day...

He also was greeted by a good amount of snow outside. This was THE best gift he could have gotten....this kid loves to shovel and looks outside everyday for snow on the driveway.

We shoveled and left for a donut breakfast at Tasty's.

James opted for the Valentine special...

Our plans as of last night were to spend the morning at the Dinosaur Park to see the "rawr rawrs" as James calls them, but the weathermen were wrong and we ended up with snow. So, instead we headed over to Boondocks (yet again) to let the kids run wild.

The morning festivities ended at Cafe Rio for lunch. I know it sounds like a selfish lunch choice but honestly it's one of James' favorites too...he can pound beans and rice.

Now my birthday boy is taking a nap and when he awakes his Daddy will be home from his 12 day long business trip & we will all celebrate with ice cream and playing.
