{Portrait of Chef Daddy by Henry}
On Sunday night Preston attempted to duplicate the meal, Shrimp and Roasted Garlic Corn Tamales. He did fabulous! I thought they tasted incredibly similar and Bobby Jr. was a little rough on himself....he thought they were heavy on the red onion.
{it's highly impossible to make food look good in a picture, but this creamy sauce with fresh corn and roasted shrimp is heavenly...just ask Preston or Bobby}
I'm just calling myself lucky to have a hubby that loves to cook and hopes to cook like Bobby Flay. He spends hours in the kitchen concocting delicious bites and even does the dishes after. I returned from a church activity on Saturday night to him making homemade cannolis. I was in awe, aren't you?

How very sweet of your husband!
Can he come cook for me?!? What a great husband you have to cook and then to even clean up! Awesome!!!!
Wow! That doesn't look easy to cook, man! Now Jeff's a whiz with the Italian food, but I'll be darned if I came home to cooked food AND an after-cleaning. .. ;)
I haven't read blogs in so long- It's all I can do to keep up on mine once in a while. I just went back on yours and you are so cute, your posts are so fun and creative I love it! How are you? How is your family? You look so cute being 30 weeks pregnant! Must be nice! Hope you are doing well!
glad the chef shaved the stache
You are one lucky girl.
You can make pictures of your husband's food look a little better. Try putting less on the plate, and take the picture without your flash. Set it next to a window when it's still light outside, the natural light will make the colors of the food look better. Also, using a shorter depth of field can make it look more interesting.
It looks tasty though.
one word: JEALOUS
Umm that looks incredible. I wish I could get Tony to cook me a meal like that! You are one lucky lady.
