I heard this quote for the first time tonight, and it really hit me that even though some of my days seem full of redundancy, discipline, dirty work and exhaustion, raising these "good" ones is what I'm supposed to be doing. I hope I can find the satisfaction, joy and peace in all of their little stages along the way.
