kids with character

Most of the kids loved meeting all of the Disney characters. They waited in line with an autograph book in hand for them to sign. Not Henry. His parents didn't want to wait in long lines and heat for such a thing, and he didn't seem to mind. We mostly just met the characters at the places we ate.

Henry meeting Eeyore at the Crystal Palace...

Cousins with Stitch at the O'hana Breakfast...

Then we became some characters ourselves at "It's Tough to be a Bug". Too bad we never met THE mouse. We saw him from a distance quite a few times, but the face-to-face meeting never occurred.

I think Henry wasn't too phased by seeing the characters. Most of the time he'd just keep eating as they approached our table, or he would walk right on by when they were out signing autographs. He kept telling us, "They're fake", to which Preston kept replying, "You're right, Henry". Where's the magic in that, Daddy?

The best part is we had more time to spend on rides. Henry asked for "the big train ride" (aka: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad) daily, and I think we rode on it about 8 times. Now that's magic.

ya i've noticed henry is kind of anti dress up, so i can see him not really caring about the characters.
