I signed Preston and I up for "The Race for the Cure" a few months back, thinking it would be a great experience for both of us to get in shape and run together. Well, I ended up getting surgery and not able to run, but Preston still followed through with his commitment! He and Janelle ran on Saturday morning. They pushed Davis and Henry along in the stroller. Henry was going to sit on the sidelines and watch with me, but he insisted that he had to "win the race".
James and I sat on the curb and shared a Slurpee together...
And watched the runners run on by...
And for the record, Henry did get out and run the last mile of the race. He was very proud to announce to me (and anyone that was willing to listen) that he won the race because he beat Nellie and Daddy. I think he did win the race in the 3 year old category because he was the only 3 year old I saw running!

Henry did win the race! He is such a fast runner and was very determined to finish! Way to go Henry!!!
