25 random things

1. I hate being cold. Our thermostat always sits at 72 degrees.
2. My left ear has a double earlobe. I call it a birth defect.
3. I'm the youngest of 4 girls, all of which are fun, successful and beautiful (them, not me).
4. One of my favorite hobbies is baby naming. I can easily name other's babies, just not my own.
5. I eat a slice of Great Harvest bread every morning with butter and honey.
6. I don't have pets and never will. I can't stand the hair, the noise or the hassle.
7. My kids both sleep with music on. Background noise is a must at our house.
8. Preston and I met when we were 16. I was attracted to his high cheekbones, his goofy personality and his basketball skills.
9. I drive a beat-up '93 Dodge Caravan in bright blue. We own 2 much newer cars, but I love the convenience of a van with kids!
10. 242 has always been my favorite number. It's a big one, but it's stuck.
11. I get a thrill from planning things....parties, outings, vacations, etc.
12. If I were on Survivor my one luxury item would be a chapstick....or lotion. Would it be better to rub chapstick all over my body or lotion on my lips?
13. I always said I wanted to be an interior decorator when I grew up, and I'm so glad I didn't follow that verbage. I stink at decorating. But then again, I'm not that great of a teacher either. My patience can run thin. I would love to be a labor and delivery nurse, but it would take years of schooling, and by then I probably would want to be something else. Plus, I'm not up for forking out a lot of money and spending very little time with my boys.
14. Just after Henry was born, Preston would come home for lunch during work and we would watch Family Feud and pretend we were competing. I always won. I love games.
15. I haven't worked out since I ran the half marathon in September. Isn't that sad?
16. Every time my friends and I get together we plan a vacation for the following year since "no one will be having babies then", but we are always wrong and we never end up going. Maybe one day...
17. Preston wants all boys and thinks he has the last say in all of their names. I claim I WILL be naming our next child.
18. I could live off of drinks alone. Coke and chocolate milk are my favorites.
19. The dishes must be done before I go to bed (that is why I'm up right now...our dishwasher takes forever!)
20. My Mom passed on her love of shopping to me. I could just peruse Target with nothing on my list.
21. I hate politics, and I'm pretty sure I always will.
22. I love my husband, and I know I always will.
23. I dream of being 100% organized....every paper, every toy, every picture has a place to call home, and it looks nice (storage bins, drawers, etc)
24. If I'm not dressed comfy I don't feel right. My favorite attire is jeans, a t-shirt and a hoodie.
25. My day always ends with a list for tomorrow, a door lock check, a potty stop and a prayer.

I really want to hear a random list from Pam, Janelle and Keely. If you don't make one by the end of the week and post it on your blog, I will make one for you and post it on mine.

I just wanna say that #23 is on my "100 things" list in life, too. Can't wait to actually be somewhere with space, which I OWN so I can do what I want.
Also, are you saying that Preston has named your boys thus far?

he has named them. i have told him my favorite names, and he has yet to agree with any of them. we compromised with james, but he really hasn't kept with the agreement...he calls him stillman quite often.

he has naming rules....no name can start with a vowel....no "gr" sound....nothing made up....he's had to have heard it before from someone noble or namesake-worthy. believe me, it's hard!!!
