pumpkin party

For FHE we had a pumpkin party.

It consisted of pumpkin carving by Preston and Henry...
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie making by Jessie......and pumpkin chocolate chip cookie eating by James...Pumpkin Seed Toasting (even though I'm the only one who enjoys eating them)...And the big finale was Pumpkin Lighting for all of us to enjoy...

Cute! I want the recipe for the Pumk. Choc. Cookies too;) Oh, and how do you season and cook the seeds?

Have you heard of The Grocery Game? This site lists sale and free items from the store you go to. I have Walgreens, Rite Aid and Ralphs. I got $55 worth of cold medicines for FREE! Walgreens and Rite Aid is the best. They have free items after rebate every single week! For example, Walgreens are giving away free mascara and antiwrinkle cream after rebate, and the rebate can be done online; it's really easy! if you are interested, the website is: thegrocerygame.com

The pumpkin chocolate chip cookie recipe is the easiest. It's one spice cake mix, a small can of pumpkin, and a bag of milk chocolate chips mixed together and baked on a cookie sheet for 12 minutes on 350 degrees. And they are lowfast and scrumptious!

I just searched allrecipes.com for the pumpkin seeds and used the basic recipe.

Those cookies sound heavenly. And I LOL at James. He and Brenna are the messiest eaters I've ever seen! She's nearly 21 months now and it's not getting much better... :)
