chipotle
As I've written about before I have an obsession with Chipotle. We're back in Colorado for a little bit while Preston works in small town America, so we took a little trip to Denver to visit where it all started 15 years ago.....the first Chipotle Mexican Grill. It's adjacent to the University of Denver campus and is the smallest Chipotle I have ever seen. There are only about 5 tables inside and just a small counter with cash register (not the typical "make it in front of you" style). We had driven for over an hour and my newly potty trained toddler and his parents needed to empty their bladders, but the restrooms were blocked by a rope because the trap door to the basement storage was up....you could see all of the secret ingredients down below. You could tell that Chipotle just started as a little "hole in the wall" place, but the food was just as amazing as it is everywhere else. One worker's t-shirt read, "I made the guacamole today", and I wanted to give her a big kiss on the cheek. Have you guys tasted that stuff? I have always greatly disliked guacamole and thought it to just be green, fatty mush, but my hubby forced me to try the Chipotle guacamole a few months back, and now I can't get enough it!!! Ya know who else can't get enough of it?...If you love it too, this girl vows she's got the recipe all figured out.

Its just not the same when you make it yourself. If you move here, your minutes away, its a family favorite for sure.
yummmmmm.... now I'm craving guacamole. I didn't like it until adulthood either.
I didn't like guacamole until I got older too! It's really good, isn't it? Glad you guys were able to make a trip to Chipotle! I remember going there for the first time with you guys and it is yummy. That is one of few things I craved when I was prego.
Your children are adorable -- love the guacamole face on James! lol
