The big ending to their visit was Keely running in the Provo Canyon 1/2 marathon. She acted as though it was no big deal. No nerves. No doubts. Are we related? She preferred Cafe Rio the night before her run over the recommended pasta. She had no goal time after being left alone to run when her friend got an ankle injury. She didn't go to bed early for the 4:00am wake-up. Actually, we all attempted to get a good night's sleep but were awakened from our slumber by other guests at the hotel who were assigned the SAME room as us. They just barged in with their bags with us asleep in our beds in the wee hours of the night. She had no watch (and no chip....who holds a running race without a chip?), no gel packs, and no fans until the finish line.
And here she is finishing the race...
Way to go, Keely! You make a sister proud! I'll keep training for the Chicago Half, but plan on waiting at the finish line for me for at least an hour!

Im glad you got that pic with the time, I wasn't sure what it was? The other pics have got to go those are horrible!! The saycation, staycation was awesome. I have not laughed so hard in a long time, betw Henny and the burglar, I wish I was more excited to be home. Did I mention I can't move my legs today?

Ok, I feel a little blog stalker here, but this is "allies" from babynames. So the craziest thing happened yesterday. I ran the provo 1/2 too and from reading your blog before, I totally recognized your sister while we were waiting for the race to start! Part of me wanted to walk up to her and ask if she had a sister Jesse-but considering I only "know" you from babynames, I figured she find it a bit odd! :) Anyway, I just thought I'd say hi and congrats to your sister who was 13 min in front of me! Wow!
I'm glad she's a friend and not a sister. Who busts out a 1:53?!?! Seriously?
