Here's a frequent conversation that I have with others concerning James...
Stranger/Friend/Other: "Wow! He has really red hair!!!"
Me: "Yep!"
Stranger/Friend/Other: "Where does he get his red hair from?"
Me: "I have no idea. I think my Grandma had red hair."
Well, the proof has been found....His beautiful red locks come from my Dad's Mom.
Mission completed. There you go. Now don't ask me again.

Nevermind the red hair, Bob and Sue look HOT!
phew. i'm glad we know.
red hair is a recessive gene so it has to be present in both parents hope that helps
Get used to the comment, where does orange hair come from that is what Im trying to figure out. Bust out the sunblock baby.
lol -- Yay! The mystery of the red hair solved!
I am Pam's cousin. I click on over to your blog from Pam's page. I enjoy reading it. Just have to comment that I have two boys, 3 and 1 and they both have red hair (or orange hair as my little boy calls it). Pretty amazing. Your description of the questions on that his right on. Get it all the time, everywhere we go. And I did hear it has to come from both parents. Emily Adams
Maybe once or twice EVER have I taken the girls ANYWHERE -- even to the post office or Walmart --where someone hasn't commented on their red hair.
In Hawaii, the Japanese tourists would actually stop to oogle Sydney on the sidewalk or lure her over to them on the beach and take her picture.
Red hair just makes people crazy.
