sibling cruelty
As I was blow drying my hair this morning Henry was digging in the bathroom drawer. He found a headband that I use to push my hair out of my face when I run. He immediately put it on his head and went about his merry way. A few minutes later I hear James crying in his bouncy seat in the living room. I quickly go and check on him. After glancing in his direction, I see that he is still sitting in his bouncy seat and fussing, while Henry is innocently watching "Handy Manny". I return to the bathroom because afterall, the kid does cry from time to time, and my hair does need to be dry for the day. A few minutes later I return to the living room where James is still crying (and it's getting louder) and Henry is still sitting innocently watching "Handy Manny" (ignoring his brother's desperate pleas). As I step closer to James I see that he has the headband around his head, blocking his vision of the peaceful waterfall. I look at Henry accusingly, and he utters, "James wants to wear it". Yeah, I can see that.
