Things Henry has said about James...* He calls him "MY baby James"
* He touches each part of his body and says, "little hands, little toes, little eyes" and goes on and on in the softest, sweetest voice.
* "I hold him?"
* "James too little" (when other kids offer him food or want him to play)
* "Get him, Mommy" (when James is crying)
* "Mommy hold him" (when Daddy comes home and holds James, instead of playing trains with Henry)
And, I had a realization that I may be in for some fun times last week while grocery shopping. I had Henry in the front of the cart and James in his car seat carrier in the back. Henry turns around towards James, starts chanting "Baby. Baby. Baby" while poking him in the eye and pulling up on his eyelid. I could honestly see the flesh underneath the eyelid. I immediately grab Henry's hand and am ready to be furious when James suddenly lets out his first vocal giggle. He was totally smiling and thoroughly enjoying his brother's attention. What's a mom to do?
These 2 are pretty cute, and I'm excited to see what the future brings...

Henry is such a good big brother! It's good that he's trying to toughen James up a little, you don't want him to be a wimp!!

I hear ya. My boys spit at John, and as I'm telling them to knock it off he's laughing his head off. Hmm, not the response I expected. I love their little cubs outfits!
