FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY! We got a DVR today! It took Comcast threatening to up our bill to some excessive amount on just the local channels because our promotion time was up, but it happened! We got a great deal on internet, cable and DVR for the next 6 months. So not only do I get the DVR, I also get TLC and E back in my life. You all are probably thinkin' that I already watch plenty of TV, and that I really don't need this....but, I truly believe that DVR makes you watch quality TV at a convenient time. Now I don't have to ignore my children during American Idol...I can just record it and watch it while they're in bed (commercial free!!!). See, it will change my life for the better! At least for 6 months anyway, and then I'm not sure what will happen. I hope this little box gets to stick around for a long, long time. I'm falling in love all over again.

Oh it's a little slice of heaven. My problem now is wanting to record more than 2 shows at one time. Can't be done.....I think we might need another one. Oh wait, maybe I just need to cut down on the number of shows I watch!
