Our Idol
I'm a reality TV junkie. I love most reality TV, and it drives my hubby crazy. This is why I need a DVR...he just wouldn't have to sit through the shows if I could record them and watch them on my own time. I'm currently watching American Idol. The boys are great and the girls stink. Our favorite is David Archuleta, of course. He's got the best voice (in my opinion), is LDS (gotta support the faith), and lives in the same city we used to live in (Murray!). He talks and gestures like a big nerd (let's call him humble and sweet), but honestly, his voice is nothing short of heavenly. Here's his last week's performance...

I like David and I do agree that there are not many good girls. I also strongly believe that you need a DVR. It is the greatest thing ever invented and I could not live without it. We watch all our shows after the kids are asleep and it's so nice to skip commercials. Preston - GET DVR! You will be able to spend more time with Jessie and she can watch AI during the day!! I also have to say that AI is a whole new experience with DVR - you get to skip all the "fluff" in the show and get straight to results - and you can fast forward the singers you don't like - I can watch 2 hours of it in 20 min!!
Who needs DVR, when you got Utube? If I wasn't such a rocker fan, David would be my numero uno, quite a little cutie too, but not as cute as Mr.James.
I must admit that I am also addicted to reality tv. David is definitely my favorite Idol this year. I hope he goes all the way!!
I've commented on your blog before (I just love your blog so much I check it sometimes.... all the time...) and I totally agree. That kids is freaking amaizing! I'm glad he's got a support group, cause he could totally win it!

I agree I LOVE his voice it is AMAZING!!!! YES I TOTALLY think you need to get TIVO or DVR. It is a life saver! I love being able to watch an hour show in 30 mins or less. it is wonderful!! Also nice to record henry's shows too!! Anyway I hope David wins! I can't wait to hear what he has to sing tonight!!!
Amen on DVR! It is the best. Let me just add: it's sooo worth it to get one with a hard drive, and not just burning capabilities!
Also, he really does have a good voice! And never underestimate the LDS vote! ;)
I love American Idol too! And David is so good! Glad to know that James likes him too!
I like David too! He sounds like a sweet little guy. Speaking of sweet, James is so adorable. I love his red hair. He looks very peaceful sleeping;)
I LOVE that kid too -- but my favorite is Michael (from Austraila). But last night my favorite was that Cook guy -- can we say..."Hello? Is it me your looking for?" lol
