Upon the arrival of James, we got bombarded with delicious treats. Preston's work sent us these goodies that we have been feasting on the past few weeks. I overheard someone saying the other day that they don't give their kids candy for Easter because they have a no-sugar rule at their house. I'm starting to feel like we have a sugar-only rule at ours. We just need to get all of this amazing junk eaten so that our love handles can have a break. No wonder the pounds aren't comin' off as they should be!!!
After Henry's nap a few days ago he insisted upon having a "snack" (aka: cookie from the cookie tower). He also wanted his best little stuffed animal "Pokey" to have a cookie too. I sat them up at the bar and let them enjoy their cookies. Henry was quite disappointed that Pokey wasn't actually eating his cookie. I attempted to sneak a bite to help him feel better about the situation. Well, that didn't go over so well. That cookie was for Pokey and Pokey only! Until Henry finished his cookie and decided that Pokey wouldn't mind if he ate his too.

Hey I wonder if that's what I got (well what my PARENTS got, ha ha) too!
P.S. did they forget before, or what?
i'm suprised there were any left after you left me alone with them that day.
Ok, Henry is so sweet! I love this age where their imagination is so sweet & fun. I love the little stuffed animal next to him. What a priceless picture. AND those cookies look delish!
i love how he shared with his toy! how cute! NAH sugar is good for a kid!!! :) STICK WITH THE SUGAR!! My child would eat candy from the moment she wakes up if it were up to her!!! :)
Oh to be a kid again and eat all the sugar I want and not get a belly ache!
