Every morning and night I mix up the saline concoction and squirt a bit into each of his mini nostrils. It soaks for a minute, and then I retrieve the sucker of snot (the nasal aspirator) and pull loads of yellow snot out with just a squeeze of the bulb. That tool is amazing (and semi cruel), but it's also a miracle that his tiny body just recognizes the evil of thick yellow snot and sneezes when it gets tough to breathe.
I just keep telling myself that sicknesses just make our immunity stronger. Afterall, Preston had pneumonia something like 6 times before he was a year old and now is the king of good health. Let's hope the same for James.

It's so sad when babies are sick. I feel so helpless at times because they can't tell you what's wrong and they don't understand what is going on with them. I hope he has a very quick recovery!
Awwww...poor baby! ((((Speedy recovery)))) for James!!!
wow, that is some serious bugger...
poor James. I hope he feels better soon
that poor little guy!! it is hard when they get sick SO little!! I hope he gets better soon!!
Poor James!! That booger is bigger than his nose! I hope he feels better soon!
Oh my that is gross.
I kept Miyah and Easton in complete isolation for the first 7 or 8 months of their lives, and they never got sick. When I finally did take them out, they both immediately got sick, and now they've both been sick twice since then. It's amazing how many germs are carried and spread, just by taking you baby out. It's terrible to have a sick baby, but I almost did go insane staying in the house for a year straight.
Whoa!! That is one gigantic booger! Hope he feels better soon!!
