full house

Today Jeni and Marieke came up from the south end of the valley to join Pam and I at my house. We had a lot of fun whippin' up grilled cheese sandwiches, breaking up toddler fights (caused by my firstborn), playing with the kids, chatting and having a photo shoot with James. Jeni takes amazing photos that you can check out here, so I begged for her expertise in trying to make my newborn look human in a photo...don't you hate that "deer in the headlights", awkward newborn look? Well, she worked miracles, but I will save those to share with you later. I haven't sorted through them all yet.

But I WILL share you with you the chaos of trying to take a picture of 7 children under 3 all on 1 couch...Don't you love Milli trying to keep Liam on the couch? You can't see it in the picture but she was yelling out, "I've got him!". 3 of the 7 are throwing a fit....can you tell it's nap time?

This one is a bit better...I love how Owen is wondering what is up with James crying like that.

7 kids is a lot to have all in one place! I'm just glad I had the help of 3 other adults. Thanks for the fun, kiddos and ladies!

Holy cow, that first pic is priceless! I love how the third boy is looking at Pam's kids like they are insane and Henry is covering up his eyes. I'm exhausted just looking at it!

Playdates are the best and it is always fun to see the results when you try to take a picture of that many kids!
