What's in a name?
This kid is a week old, and his name has yet to "click" to me. Is that a problem? We officially named him Stillman James, and originally agreed to call him James, but this kid has been called everything under the sun. My dear husband rooted for Stillman all along because of his great, great grandpa and his amazing story, but I just don't love the name. It seems so big for such a little fellow and just doesn't flow from my tongue. It seems to flow from my husband's tongue regularly, despite my protests. I loved the name Oliver for a boy from the beginning, and Preston despises any name that begins with a vowel, so that got kicked to the curb real fast. I relented on Stillman because the hubby agreed that we could name him that, but he would always go by his middle name, James. Well, it just isn't coming to that. So now I'm debating on calling him Stillman and just not liking it, calling him James which I love (even though others keep calling him Stillman), or just overruling them all and calling him Oliver because I'm the one who's around him all day. This whole name game is really starting to bug me. I ordered his name in vinyl from Allie today for the nursery, and went to place an order with Emma for one of the cutest name shirts, but then it just started eating at me.....What is this kid's name, anyway? I just can't go on with half of his loved one's calling him Stillman and the other half calling him James. His name might as well be Sibyl and we'll just give him multiple personalities while we're at it.

It would be hard to have everyone calling him different names. I am and always will be a HUGE fan of James!
He is so adorable, Jessie! I hope that he is named after a name that you both like... It's hard to pick out a name. I haven't \found a middle name for Caylee, and it's kind of making me worry...;( Well, good luck. Love the name James;)
Of course you know I love James :), but hey, you're the mommy, right? Start correcting people, hee hee.
hey the joy of adoption is I can change the name after 6 months because that is when I get the "offical birth cert" he he.
I agree with Mandi I think YOU ARE THE MOM call him what YOU want! you carried the kid for 9 LONG months and pushed him out! :)
i don't know, but let me know when you decide....my kids have been calling him "owen" (they're really confused) and before i bother correcting them, i want you to be solid!!! good luck.
Yep still looks like Oliver to me, he gets cuter every day, I MISS HIM. Maybe just Dillman is good.
Sybil is already taken....it's Silvia's name. Sorry.

*Stick with Stillman.
I think James or Oliver goes better with Henry, than Stillman. :)
I've been meaning to congratulate you on this adorable baby!!!!
I agree with the last person....Oliver or James goes better with Henry. Stillman is cute too, but you are right, it just doesn't roll off the tongue. Any way you look at it he is as cute as a button!
Sybil....You definitely don't want your child that!
I think James and Oliver go a little better with Henry than Stillman....but man oh man!! Is he ever cute!!!!
