Our first full day home is almost over, and Henry has done great! He loves to watch James and has even asked to hold him a few times. Henry's always the first to announce "baby crying" or "baby's eyes open" if he actually wakes up. It's very sweet. I just hope it lasts.
I left Henry to watch his new Little Einstein's DVD that we gave him for Valentine's Day in the living room while James was snoozing in the pack n' play (I was gone for just seconds). I came back to him staring over the edge, checking on his baby brother. Then later he took it a step further and decided to pull down the elephant entertainment bar from over the baby's head and "tickle" his face with it. I knew when I heard Henry laughing and James crying that we had a small problem. We cleared up the situation, and I'm hoping that Henry will continue to learn what he can and can't do when it comes to Sweet Baby James. All in all, everything is going well. We are basking in the time at home as a family, and trying to get to know this new little guy.

Awwwww....they are so sweet! Kelly STILL doesn't like Luke to touch her -- and it has been 3.5 months! lol Consider yourself VERY blessed....

I loved those first few days when Ben was getting to know his little brother....It is so fun to see your kids interacting and I'm sure James will love nothing more than to watch his older brother play and you will love nothing more than watching Henry make James laugh...it is the best!
I love that picture of Henry staring lovingly down at James! I can't believe that you got him to do that for you. I tried so hard with Lily, but she wouldn't have it. Henry is going to be such a great big brother!!
