Usually I'm full of things to talk about and pictures to post, but not so much today. I've been working around the clock on that giant "to-do" list I posted awhile back and haven't really been hunting for those great blogging opportunities. I am happy to report that the baby's nursery is just about complete. I have to finish up the quilt (I'm getting close) and collect a few more items, but it is painted, set up, clothes are put away and it's a livable place for a baby. The stroller came (it's giant and hardly fits in my trunk), and I love it (Thanks, Mom and Dad!). It's got all of the bells and whistles, and Preston says I just may need a CDL license to push it around (that's what happens when you need something big enough to carry a toddler, an infant in an infant seat, AND have no way for them to touch eachother). Henry is still sleeping in his "big boy bed" like a champ, and all in all things are moving forward. Now I just need to pack my hospital bag and be ready for that moment of excitement, panic, and pain to bring on the beginnings of this big journey I'm about to embark on.
I did have a fun Saturday with a few of the girls from Preston's family....we scrapped, ate, and went to see "Enchanted" (cute movie!) I, again, didn't get a ton done, but was able to conquer our Disneyworld photos and enjoy the relaxation. Here's one layout I did...the rest can be found in the Henry's Scrapbook link. Then on Sunday we went to church, my sister-in-law's house for dinner, and heard the news that President Hinckley had passed away. He was the only prophet I've ever known since I was baptized over 12 years ago. To be completely honest I was ecstatic for him because I knew how much he missed his sweet wife and you could tell by the way he lived his life he was already celestial and ready for peace, rest, and to be united with all of his family and friends. Thanks for all of the great lessons, funny jokes and inspiration, President Hinckley! This picture is titled "best of the best", and I think that suites him perfectly.
