New Year's Day brought with it many inches of snow to Chicago. We bundled up the kids as good as we could (we were short some major necessities: gloves, snowpants and boots), and went to the local sledding hill. The trek to and from the car with Henry and sled in tow was so exhausting that I only managed to get Henry up and down a small portion of the gigantic hill. He loved riding down and then being pulled up on the saucer sled. My biceps got the biggest workout they've gotten in quite some time. I knew he was freezing too when he asked to go home. All of our noses and fingers were cherry red and just moments away from frostbite.
This morning the wind chill was -3!!!!
