A few neighbors and I tackled Black Friday shopping this morning! Our adventure started at 4:45am, and 6 stores, lots of money (but we saved SO much), 2 Cokes, and 5 hours later we made it home with quite the loot! Christmas is done for most of us, and it feels so nice. Many told us not to attempt it, but it went so smoothly and we had so much fun that it WILL be an annual tradition. It was such an adrenalin rush to see the mile-long line sprinting into Shopko this morning! The 3 of us stood back and laughed, and then noticed that the center doors were open and walked right in without waiting in line. No, we didn't cheat, we were just very observant. We returned home to check out our purchases and Preston swore that we had "stopped at a store for a hit of Speed" because we were so excited and talking so fast. I guess that's what you get when you get 3 women who got to shop in "peace" (no kids) for 5 hours and left with over a 60% savings!!!
The only glitch of the day was this little guy finding the stash...Good thing his memory isn't top notch just yet!

That is quite the stash! I managed to do some online shopping - still not brave enough to tackle the early morning shopping.
Geez!!!! Does one really need 5 Mr. Potato Heads?
Yep....when you've got moms that have 2 boys, 2 boys, and 1 boy. That'd be 5 tater heads!
HO. LY. COW.
Looks like fun! We hit a few stores in the small town of Ft. Morgan, Colorado. I'm sure it was nothing like in Salt Lake. I think I'm most jealous of the Potato Heads, Bridger would love those!
I'm proud of you!! Way to Go!!!
it looks like you now how your own toy store! Sounds like you had a lot of fun!!
